What is Acupuncture?
Early Chinese physicians discovered an energy network traversing
below surface of the skin. This network communicates to the internal
organs and forms over 1000 "Acupoints" on the body.
This energy network works in harmony with the body's circulatory,
nervous, muscular, digestive, genitourinary and all other systems
of the body. When this vital energy is blocked or weakened, organs
and body parts are effected. Stimulation of one or a combination
of key "Acupoints" on the body may restore harmony to
the effected area. |
Will it hurt?
Because of the extreme slenderness of the needle, most people compare
the sensation as "less than a mosquito bite".
What is acupuncture used for?
Acupuncture has been used to treat well over one hundred conditions,
but the most common uses are for pain control and addiction control
including smoking cessation.
